Adobe Acrobat Pro Web Version Vs Desktop version

I have purchased the Pro version for Adobe. The older version that I had did everything I needed it to do, but it looks like that version is not offered anymore. I have since upgraded to the Adobe Acrobat Pro, however I am having issues with web version vs the desktop app version. In the web version I can move things around just fine and highlight just fine but then when you get to the desktop app I cannot select multiple text boxes or highlight. Is there a fix for this on why I have certian features in the web version vs the app version?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20759 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3KA64fk

It says I have Pro Version 2024.002.20895. I have the same issue with all PDF's I open. There are some instances when it works for a second then stops working.

I will try reseting the Acrobat preferences and see if that works.

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that the issue still persists, Would you mind collecting the Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html , Procmon logs (Win Only) https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/acromonitor.html and share them via any cloud storage. Just upload the log file to the cloud and generate the link and share that link with us for further investigation.
