Good afternoon. We have an issue which is causing concern. We have several PDF files that won't load properly and we keep getting the message saying "Not Responding" the only option we have, is to shutdown Acrobat and restart. These files are generally design drawings from major contractors and range between 2 and 10Mb. Our laptop is a HP V-Pro i5 with 16Gb RAM lots of hard drive space.
If we use FOXIT- Reader the PDF opens and we can zoom in to the various sections.
I would appreciate if someone can point me in the direction of a solution to this issue, we need to put notes, comments and feedback on the sections within the drawings and this is proving an isue.

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Is this an issue with the drawing/design PDF files only or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.
What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20687 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
Let us know how it goes.
