Hi everyone, I subscribed to Adobe Acrobat Standard DC and was provided with a software download link. Once the installer DMG file was downloaded, I double clicked on the installer per the instructions, and absolutely nothing happens afterwards. There is no window pop-up showing the progress of the installation. I waited a while to see if it was just a lag, but nothing happened.
I also deleted the installer and redownloaded/retried the installation a few times, and I'm still getting nothing.
Has anyone else encountered this issue before? How did you fix it?
Quite a bit disappointed that I'm paying for something that isn't getting installed on my computer when I thought it would work...

Acrobat installs on other systems so it should also install on your system. From where did you get the download link? Is that an Adobe address?

The download link was directly from the email from Adobe. I also tried the download link on Adobe's webite - same problem.

Acrobat Standard is a Windows only application.

It says Mac OS v12 is supported on the Adobe website: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/system-requirements.html

Well, the perpetual license version is for sure for Windows only. Maybe the subscription version is not...
