Adobe Acrobat Standard DC

New Here ,
Apr 05, 2017 Apr 05, 2017

I am installing Adobe Acrobat Standard DC in a Windows 7 that accomplishes all prerequisites for this installation but when trying to install appears the following error: "Windows installer does not permit patching of managed advertised products. At least one feature of the product must be installed before applying the patch". I have already installed it in two of my company laptops but it appears in another 2 of them. What can I do to solve this issue?

it sounds like you're not using an installation file, but are using an update file.

to make sure:

uninstall all acrobat and reader versions using your control panel.

clean per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

restart your computer

install your acrobat std dc using the installation file below

Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.
