Im trying to make pdfs mor accessable however the tags pane doesnt show any tags in it. I had the document create tags and i can see the dropdown arrows but i cant visibly see the tags.

Location: View > show/hide > Navigation Panes > Tags.

The side panel shows but no tags in side just arrows. (Attached screenshot)

Any help with this would be great, thank you.

Looks like one of three problems:

    • The PDF file wasn't exported correctly from the source document. Remember, always export to PDF, never Print to PDF.
    • Your version of Acrobat Pro is corrupted.
    • Your PDF file got corrupted. Did you happen to use Acrobat's Edit tools and make any editorial changes to the PDF? That action kills the tags and accessibility.
