Adobe Acrobat too much space taken up

Hello,

I've been using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a Windows PC for a long time and I've seen that it now takes up 64 GB of space, that's a lot, too much. How do I understand why it takes up all this space?
If it keeps old files in memory I would like to delete them, but I couldn't find anything in the settings. I also tried searching in the guide and community without finding an answer.
