hi there, I have few questions regarding Adobe Forms.

I have created a fillable form in adobe acrobat x PRO based on Word template, and distribute it to collect response through an INTERNAL SERVER.

I'm a newbie on Adobe Pro so I need your help in few things

No.1) I need to hide the form SUBMIT (in the top with red colour) button and I will create a new submit button.

No.2) I need a way so that the user add an attachment to the disreputed form (as proof of fillable data).

No.3) I need to view the form that users fill (response) to extract the attachments

No.4) I need to lock the forms that users fill (response) after they press submit.

N0.5) I want to save one copy of the distributed form and every time the users fill and submit,  it clear its content automatically, and the user cant save over it.

I hope you can answer me and bare with me since I just start working on forms just 3 days ago

1. What do you mean? Which submit button at the top? Can't you send a screenshot?

2. They can do it using the Add File commenting tool.

3. You can view it once they submit it back to you.

4. You can use a simple script to do it. What's the point of it, though? If they just close the file without saving and then re-open it, then it won't matter at all.

5. You can only do that if they open it from a network location that you have full control over. And even then they could still copy it first to their local machine and then save over it. You can't prevent that.

as i said I'm newbie on acrobat form, so i surfed a lot of this community topics and noticed your effective answers.

i hoped that you reply on my question @try67 .

now back to music .. 😄

1) i mean the button in the picture highlighted in yellow "https://ibb.co/Q6PTy7Y"

2) the users will fill this form using Acrobat reader, so they don't have the option to use tools also i found a way to create a button to attach a file.

3) when i open the response file that was sent to network file it gave me the msg in picture "https://ibb.co/f0LDYQ2"

lets start with these point .. and if its work then no need for other points.

1. If you add a button that has a Submit Form action I believe it will override it.

2. This is a commenting tool. If they use Reader DC then they can use it. That's the only way to attach a file in Reader.

3. This is a form data file (fdf or xfdf). It needs to be imported into a blank copy of the PDF in order for the data in it to appear. You can change the settings of your submit button to send the complete file, and then you'll receive a PDF file, instead of an (x)fdf file.
