I have a license for Adobe Acrobat X. I  did a clean install of my Dell PC from 7 to 10 and even though I put in the serial number of the Adobe X, when I launch it says I have a 7 day trial. How do I avoid going around in circles to reinstall what I biught several years ago

Acrobat X is an old and unsupported version, and it's not compatible with Windows 10. To increase the chances of it working properly make sure you have all updates installed (up to 10.1.16, available here: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/10.x) and run it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS, like Windows 7.

However, all of this should not interfere with you entering the serial number. What exactly does it say when you do so, and where did you get the installer for it from?

Thanks for the info.
It worked quite well in Win 7.
Sadly, I have the card with the serial number on it, but not the install disc - likely because it is so old.
Don't use it enough to pay a monthly license fee, so guess I will use the MS version.
Thanks for your help.
