Good day,
I purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro from you a few years back and I’ve recently replaced my PC and tried to install Acrobat XI Pro, but it gives me an error saying that the license has been revoked.
I deleted the program from my old PC because I thought that it would be too many devices using the same product with the same serial number. I have it on one other device and I understand that I can use it on two devices – just not at the same time – which is how I have always used Acrobat XI Pro since I purchased it without any problems.
Please help me sort this out.
Thank you.
Hi!
This is an update on my original post. It appears that Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is not compatible with Windows 11. The only way forward was to subscribe to Adobe Acrobat, which I've done. I'm still going to activate it on my PC and hopefully everything will work smoothly from now on.
Thank you for your help!
Have a great day!

We cannot see your account information on the public forum. You will need to contact Adobe Customer Care directly. Try the link to auto-open the Chat:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
Type "agent"
If your browser blocks the Chat window, try the troubleshooting tips here:

You can also send a post through X (formerly Twitter) to @AdobeCare.
Do not reply to PMs, which are likely to be scammers.
I've moved your post to Acrobat for you.

Hi Jane,
Thank you for your reply.
I typed "agent" in the chat window and answered all the questions after that but was informed that they can't assist because Acrobat XI Pro is no longer supported. I was hoping someone here has had the same problem and could help....

That's unfortunately the standard answer. In general, however, Adobe still gives limited support with activation problems, as long as the activation servers are online. Try again.
Sorry, that's all we can do for you.

When you say "from you", do you mean your purchased your license from Adobe directly?

Yes, I purchased it from Adobe directly. I went to the chat box again this morning, typed "Agent" but was, once again, not put through to a real person...

First get a case number. Then ask for a supervisor or Tier 2 support.
You can also post on X (Twitter) (directions above) and Adobe Customer Care will get back to you.
(I don't know if the holiday this week will affect anything.)

I don't have a Twitter (X) account. Can I still send a message to Adobe via that medium?

You would have to create one. You can delete it later.

then an illegal vendor isn't the cause. it's either an adobe error or your activation code was being used by someone else or found online.
and you can create a twitter/x account to use it.

Does anyone know if there is an Adobe customer care email address I can use?

No, there isn't. You can contact them by chat (and through there, phone), or Twitter (sorry, "X"...).

if you purchased acrobat xi pro from a non-authorized vendor, you probably were scammed (esp if you paid an obviously low price), http://adobedealreg.force.com/PartnerSearch?lang=en

That's the best option in your case. Check in your account, if the serial is not stored in that account. https://account.adobe.com
Now, it still could be that you serial number has been used on more than 2 computers, or that it got traded on the black market.

for others, generally with windows, using compatibility mode allows newer os'es to install, open and work properly with older adobe (and other vendor) apps.

I am determined not to incure anymore monthly fees. There are way too many and I deactivating them. My laptop, where I had installed my Pro 11, has died. (Yes, I bought it directly from
Adobe) (New laptop is Windows11) I don't have the serial number. I'm OK with purchasing another version of Acrobat but I am NOT paying a monthly fee. Is there a version of Acrobat, I can purchase, that doesn't have a monthly fee?

yes, but you'll need to save your serial number.

Can your check your account: https://account.adobe.com/products ? I used to purchase one license for the entire Creative Suite for my Mac and another for Acrobat for Windows. I just looked at my account and see the serial numbers for Acrobat 8 through 10.
Acrobat is only available by subscription now. Adobe gave away PDF, which is now owned by an ISO. Other companies make PDF applications. We are not allowed to recommend any, but you can do a Google search. For me, I'll stick with Acrobat.
