Adobe Acrobat XI won't start anymore

I am using the newest version and I'm on Windows 8 x64.

It worked until now, just won't start anymore. haven't done anything before it stopped working.

Not sure if you solved this but I had a similar issue with acrobat Pro XI on Win 8.1 x64. Tried all the fixes I could find nothing that worked.  I finally found, quite by accident, that compatibility mode on the application had been set for Windows 7 after the last update. Try rebooting your system. IF that doesn't work, open control panel > programs > select Acrobat and chose the option to repair installation.

Didn't work, but when i reinstall, it does work for a time, but when i restart or reboot, it stops working again.

Not an answer, this is just say I have the same problem only difference is I'm on windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, tried repair/ re-install and nothing, Distiller does show its splash screen then crashes, and I bought it as part of the Creative suite 6 Web Design premium,all other programs are running, if I get an answer I will post for you. regards, Les2Bee x
