Hello,

 

  I am facing the problem with subscription to Adobe Acropro Subs. Actually I dont know how I have got subscribed to this "service", since I was just kooking for standard Adobe applications. Actually  my standard support by Adobe has finished and I have no services in my plans right now, but I am still receiveing the bills for Adobe Acropro Subs and I am not able to cancel it. What shoul I do? Is it a fraud?

Please, advice.

It could be that you once started a trial of Acrobat Pro, which then automatically converted into a paid subscription after the trial ran out. Go to Plans in your Adobe Account and see if there is any Acrobat Pro-related subscription. If not, could it be that you maybe tried it out with a different Adobe ID in the past?

I am on with Adobe Chat help right now and they are doing exactly what the users/clients down below are talking about.  The bot ignored my instructions.  Passed me to a person named Charu who as soon as I reiterated I wanted to cancel, told me they were transfering me to Kevin so he could discuss other products.  

Kevin did come through, although it was a difficult and multi-stepped process.

I did not order Adobe Acrobat Pro the app. I already have an Adobe Photography account. You have charged me for 3 months of services I did not order. I looked at the app and it could not do what was needed. There are many complaints about this listed that there is no notification that you are implementing and billing for an app. I had to discover it on my credit card!

CANCEL the ADOBE PRO APP THAT I DID NOT ORDER

OMG these chat bots are terrible

I am keeping my Adobe Photography plan. That is the only plan that I have. The Adobe pro app does/did not do what I needed. I look at your offerings occasionally but I did not order/want this Pro plan.

I go through a Bot, then a person who tries to sell me a plan

or tells me you are going to sell me a plan

I just need it canceled. That's it.

This is talked about in your forums. That people can't figure out how this app is being charged on their accounts, and when they try and stop it, get a refund, just cancel it, that the customer service just keeps talking about "another solution" and tries to sell them something else, and some did not get their cancellations honored and had to cancel their cards.

Don't let this be the case today. I'm too broke and tired. We haven't had a roof since Hurricane Ida. It's just too much

NO I DO NOT. I have the Adobe Photography plan for $10.99 a month, which is all I can afford

Please you are being very polite and I appreciate it. Please just put I can't afford it right now and I don't even remember ordering something that would cost so much. It doesn't make any sense.

Just cancel it and verify it for me so I don't have to fight with my credit card or cancel it and get a replacement.

I feel like everything is so predatory right now

And sucks up all my time to keep going over bills and charges that we don't even recognize

Jamie, I see that the plan was purchased as a trial on 03 Apr 2023 and after the 7 days of trial, it got auto-activated.

I understand that you wish to cancel the subscription. However, I have an option for you that will help you save money with full access.

Instead of canceling the plan, I see that there is a 3 free months extension offer on your subscription that you can avail of.

I can add those to your subscription allowing you time to explore the software and you wouldn't have to pay for the next 3 months.

How does that sound to you?

Kevin, No, there's nothing that we can take on now at all. There's no money saving - I'm getting taken for over $60 when you "cancel" what was a trial that I likely canceled then because it didn't work because I would not have bought something for $21.88

Just cancel it. Take my money. Just cancel it and confirm so I can go back to work

There are ways to unsubscribe, but be careful. Adobe tries to get you to sign up for even more expensive alternatives. I thought I had completed "cancel" twice, but it was still there in my account. The 3rd time I successfully canceled--I think.  I have been charged for over a year!  I think this is fraudulent on Adobe's part!

You will need to contact Adobe, but here is some extra info which may help you in the conversation with them.

 

ACROPRO is Acrobat Pro, a standard Adobe app. It is not really a service, it is an app.

If you subscribe, it will renew forever until you cancel.

If you take a trial it will subscribe unless you cancel.

If you have a subscription it will show in your Adobe account. Look under "Plans".

If you do not have a subscription, then there may be a fraud by someone who stole your card details.

 

Warning, scammers may contact you privately pretending to be Adobe staff. Adobe will never send you a private message asking you to email an account that isn't @17309390, or use Skype. Adobe never ask you for their password. These scammers want your Adobe info, credit cards, your money and control of your computer, please take care.

Adobe doesn't allow sbscrition cancel. Adobe shows yo have no subscription, but keep charging. you have to cancel your credit card to get rid of Adobe chargess.

I just learned that as well!! What a scam. This online stuff is becoming ridiculous!
