Adobe changes Micro Word headers to a different font

In addition to this header problem, the table of content number fonts are also not converting.

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 2023.006.20380 64-bit

and the latest version of Word

My company's fonts show up in pdf in Adobe Pro's font list.

(1) In Word, I selected Acrobat>Preferences and selected Standard Conversion Type. I clicked Advanced Settings>Fonts. I selected Embed all fonts. I selected Embed Open Type Fonts. I selected Subest embedded fonts when percent of characters used is less than 100%.

I clicked Save As and named it Standard (1).job options because that's what the dialog provided.

I click OK to close the dialog box. I clicked OK to close the preferences window.

I clicked File>Save As Adobe PDF.

(2) In Word, I click File>Options>Save. I selected Embed fonts in the file. I selected Embed only the characters used in the document. I selected Do not embed common system fonts.

I clicked OK to close the dialog box.

(3) I clicked File>Save to save these changes.

(4) I click File>Save As Adobe PDF

(5) I opened the pdf in Adobe Pro.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you,

Donna

I have the answer to this problem:

From Word, I click File>Print.  In the Printer selection dialog box, I clicked the dropdown arrow and selected Microsoft Print to PDF.   And this corrected the problem in Adobe Pro.

I was previously selecting File>Print>Adobe PDF.
