Adobe Collaboration Synchronizer is constantly running when it shouldn't be running

I work for an organization and cannot utilize any adobe cloud services.  I also have no rights to change or remove software.  The Adobe Collaboration Synchronizer is constantly running on my computer.  It keeps my processer running around 50%, and prevents my computer from sleeping.  It will even wake the computer up when it is asleep so when I go anywhere with my laptop it will turn on in my bag and run the battery down before I get to where I'm going.

I have asked our IT department to address this and they cannot.  How do I make that software stop?
