Adobe crashing after Citrix PDF change

I have two users that are experincing a strange crashing issue. This seems to be related to Citrix updating their PDF viewer. I did open a ticket with them but also wanted to see if it was related to Adobe itself.

 

Adobe acrobat seems to work fine when using other PDFs, but when using a PDF that was generated by Paris Citrix (our performance reporting software) the PDF will open on the local computer for a few seconds before crashing. We have tried repairing the adobe installation, installing windows updates, restarting and shutting down but the issue has persisted over a few days. It seems like it might be related to the users computers as running the PDFs from another computer, opening it there where it works fine, then sending it to the impacted users computer it crashes.

I also collected dmp logs, and adobe diagnostic logs (.zxp), was hoping that someone could help me analyze those, it does not look like I can share them here.

Also users are on version 24.003.20180

We are encountering numerous issues in Citrix with Adobe Acrobat.  Issue was first reported back in September.  Issue seems to occur, mostly, with fillable PDFs for us.  We have gone through multiple troubleshooting steps, including  uninstall/reinstall.  Using Server 2022 fully patched and latest version of Adobe Acrobat.
