Adobe Distiller X error converting postscript to pdf after Win11 upgrade from Win10

Error log:

Error:invalidfileaccess

offendingcommand:file

This used to work fine on same Win10 device using command line "acrodist.exe -F"

The device then had Win11 upgrade and since then it's not worked.

Interestingly, very simple postscript files with no embedded or referenced images still distill to pdf so hoping the solution lives somewhere in the registry.
