Adobe Not Responding when merging files

Question

Im having an issue when trying to organize files in adobe acrobat pro. It keeps saying its not responding.

I turned off enhanced security, uninstalled / reinstalled with adobe cleaner, made sure adobe was up to date and ran an adobe repair. Im still having the same isssue. Is there anything else that I can try ?

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with merging files in Acrobat.

Could you tell us the location of the files you are trying to combine? Are they on the local disk or in any cloud storage?

Also, are they all PDF files or are you selecting the files on the explorer and right-click to combine them?

A few more pieces of information for further investigation would be great:

1. The app version of Acrobat you are using (go to Menu-> Help-> About Acrobat Pro DC);

2. The OS [Windows/Mac] and its version;

3. A screen recording of the event for further understanding;

4. Logs from your machine: https://adobe.ly/4l1gBRA. Please make sure Procmon is selected. You can upload logs using this tool and share your Unique log ID with us.
