Adobe, please update the Acrobat installer for MacOS so Rosetta is not needed.

This seems to have already been done for Reader and all of the other Creative Cloud apps, but the Acrobat (Pro) app (setup.app) still requires Rosetta.  I do not want to install or have Rosetta running on my Mac and I would love to see the installer for Acrobat (Pro) fixed so that Rosetta is not required to install.

Come on Adobe, you did it for all the other apps, why not this one?

I found this link with an installer working on Apple Silicon and without Rosetta:

Hello!

I hope you are doing well. I'm following up to see if you are still experiencing the issue. Did the direct download link for Acrobat work?

For future reference, see this article to learn more about Apple Silicon M1 processor support | Acrobat and Acrobat Reader.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

i have a brand new mac studio m2 ultra and as @RORWessels said...adobe cc forced me to install rosetta 2 for the installation of adobe acrobat. it's 3 weeks later since @RORWessels's request and nothing happened! adobe is really fooling his customers. while other companies do listen to its community & fix the problem soon, adobe only is getting the money from the customers...no listening at all.

Hi @RORWessels

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Acrobat and Acrobat Reader support Apple devices with Apple Silicon M1 processors. You can now choose to run Acrobat and Acrobat Reader in either native Apple Silicon mode or the Rosetta emulation mode.

Note:

Classic versions of Acrobat - Acrobat Pro 2017 and Acrobat Pro 2020 currently do not support native mode.

For information about enabling the native mode please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/apple-silicon-m1-processor-support.html

Many thanks for the reply..  Unfortunately, that's not what I was asking about.  What I, and many others, have been asking for is a clean installer for Acrobat (Pro) that does not require the installation or use of Rosetta.  As of right now, if you go to install Acrobat from the Creative Cloud app or from the Adobe web site, the installer (setup.app) used requires Rosetta be installed.  Ostensibly this is required because the installer (setup.app) is old and was developed for Intel based Macs.  Now, all of the other Creative Cloud apps have been updated with modern installers that do not require Rosetta.  Why Acrobat has not been updated, I can not fathom.  So, if there is anyway to get word back to the team that packages these apps, they missed one, and the user community would be ever so grateful if this oversight where repaired and a new package published in Creative Cloud.

Many thanks in advance to anyone from Adobe that might see this and can make something happen.

I did as you asked, but there are already at least three similar requests.  I upvoted the one that was the most concise and closest to what I was asking for.  I also added a comment to that.  However, I am afraid that just falls in a virtual dead zone.  So I was also hoping to get visibility here and maybe get the attention of someone at Adobe.  This has been an issue now for at least a year.  All of the other Creative Cloud apps have been updated with new installers that do not require Rosetta to install.  Acrobat should have been updated as well.  Heck, even the installer for Reader was updated already, but not the one for Acrobat itself.

But, I digress....  I have done as you asked...  I just hope I am wrong and it is not a complete waste of time.
