Adobe Pro 8 OCR Issues

Question

I have been using Adobe Pro for a number of years (on an iMac) and it used to OCR documents quickly without any problems. I used to be able to scan and then OCR documents of 50 pages or so without any problems.  Lately, it runs slowly and it stops and pauses or just hangs up without completing the OCR.  It used to rip azz and did not have any errors or hang ups now it is a DOG and hangs up on 5 to 10 page documents.  It used to be really fast and great and now it is a POS.

You are using an older version of Acrobat which was end of support few years back. So I suggest you, please use the trial version of latest Acrobat DC- https://acrobat.adobe.com/in/en/free-trial-download.html.
