Adobe pro crashes on inputting password

I am a pro subscriber and cannot use the software as it crashes the moment i put the password in - so far I have lost an hour of my morning - luckily i am not in court or in a client meeting, but HELP - can anyone tell me why? I updated Windows yesterday. I have a Dell laptop but dont think the OS or equipemnt is the problem.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

 

As the application is crashing on opening, please try to remove the application using the acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html, reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html
