Adobe Pro DC 64-bit installer forces Adobe Reader DC to uninstall, no opt out
I'm having an issue with the new installer for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 64-bit automatically removes Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 32-bit, telling me, that it's no longer needed.
I don't even have an option to op out of this.
I have no issues with this on the 32-bit version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
I could only test with 32-bit Reader, because I can't find the 64-bit installer for Reader anywhere.
Due to this change I have to use 32-bit in this environment, and feel that it will break soon also.
I'm only writing this because I have not been able to find help with this problem anywhere, thus far on the internet, or with chatting with support.
We need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed parallel with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC in WVD.
Not all of our users have Pro license, however, they still prefer Adobe Reader DC to view PDF's over using Edge or Chrome to view. The users do not like Foxit or other options.
Like I mentioned, we've been using Adobe Pro 32-bit, parallel with Adobe Reader 32-bit for years with no issues. Will this be the same for 64-bit reader and pro?
I would appreciate any advice or thoughts. I just don't see this conversation happening in the community.
