Adobe Pro Fill & Sign Function

Twice this week, the Adobe Pro app fill and sign fuction has worked and then suddenly stopped working. I read in another thread of another user having the same issue. Adobe created an update, which I installed and it worked for a couple of days, even for a brief time earlier today, then sudden caused the Adobe Pro app to crash and shut down. Each time I have sent the report to Adobe.

 

Why is this intermittantly occuring. I use this app daily and have only started having this problem recently.

 

I have tried shutting down the computer and restarting. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe. Nothing has helped.

I am following up to check if your issue has been resolved after updating the app to the latest version available. Here is the information on the newest version available: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html 

To check for pending updates, launch Acrobat > Help Menu> Check for Updates.

Thank you for reaching out to us on your concerns. Could you please update to the latest available version of Acrobat/Reader using "Help->Check for Updates" and see if issue gets fixed for you. ?

@Betsy22883594wi9m sorry to hear all this...I can imagine the frustrations you may be going through..

Curious what OS are you on? 
What version?
And was there any other updates to other applications or printer drivers recently updated too?

Have you tried in safe mode? And if so, did Adobe Pro crashed or not?

Would you mind updating the latest version (2024.002.20965) and checking if the issue is fixed?

 

If not, you can try removing these files manually:

%appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\acrobat_fss_signature_initials

%appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\acrobat_fss_signature_initialsi

%appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\acrobat_fss_signature_initialsk

 

If either of the above does not work, please use this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-diagnostics.html to collect crash logs and share the unique ID of the log.
