Hello,
Adobe Pro has updated and I am having an issue editing documents.
Previously, I'd go to Tools/ Edit PDF, and there would be the option to "Edit" or "Add Text". "Edit" would allow me to edit the text in the text box or already on the PDF. "Add Text" would allow me to type over the document. For example, if I had a scanned document and there was a blank line I could type in the text on top of the line or if I wanted to cross out text on the document, I could type a line through the text.
With the update, I can only perform the "Edit" function ie. edit or modify text in a text box. If there is blank space on the page then I can Type Text but I can't type 'over the existing text' if that makes sense.
It is important to me to be able to type over the text areas when filling out various forms (that are not fillable) because I am not permitted to modify the existing text.
Does anyone know how to do this after the update?

Thank you. This disabled the new Acrobat, and I can now edit as previous.
