Are you talking about Acrobat 8 Professional?

What is your website link?

He is right.

Acrobat 9 was the first version that was offered for the MAC OS as a downloadable version.

Ok I am confused, I have it on my old mac (2013 mac) and it says it's an 8 professional.  It was a CD I purchased (that came with my scan snap scanner) that I can't find (and the new mac doesnt have a CD drive)but I have my license number.  I appreciate all the responses though

you can expect some (or a lot) of issues installing and trying to get acrobat 8 working with sierra, but

Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

I would also agree and not recommend Acrobat 8 and sierra if that is what you are trying to do.

Thank you.  It's just that I have very limited needs and my old adobe8 has served me well! It seems to be very expensive to upgrade so I was trying to see if I could make that work first
