Adobe Reader DC won't print

Dear Sir or Madam,

we got a Problem with windwos 10 Client's and Adobereader DC. Whathever u do in the Settings Adobe Reader won't print. every other PDF-Reader print on that printer.

We hope u can help us cause Adobe Reader normaly works fine.

It wont print any PDF but every of that PDF is pritable with alternative PDF-Programms.

We already worked us through all Forum Threads wich google could find with simular Problem.

Hi thecap,

Please try repairing the application. Launch the application and go to Help menu > Repair Installation.

Check if the application updated to the latest patch released.

Try the troubleshooting steps provided in this help document: Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader

Check if the printer driver is updated.

Have you tried to replicate the issue with multiple PDF's?

Could you please confirm the exact dot version of Adobe Reader application.

Go to Help menu > About Adobe Reader.

Hello Meenakshi,

already done that. We also reinstalled the complete OS and Adobe Reader still no change.

Please provide the following information:

  • What happens when you try printing PDF?
  • Do you get any error message?
  • What are the exact steps you do to print the file?
  • Is it occurs with a particular file?
  • What is the dot version of Adobe Reader DC?

    To check dot version, launch the application and go to Help menu > About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

  • What is the make and model of the printer?
