Is there a document explaining the different features between Adobe Reader, standard and pro. Or at least one explaining the different features between pro and standard?

Many of these comparisons are outdated, or very vague, but see here:

https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/pricing/compare-versions.html

This compares Acrobat Pro and Standard (DC and 2020).

Reader can basically only display existing PDF files and perform very basic tasks on them, such as fill in form fields, add comments and digitally sign them.

I had a bit of an in-depth look at this comparison, and I'm sad to say it's not only vague, it's also inaccurate.

For example, "Enhance PDF forms by adding interactivity with JavaScript" can be done in all versions of Acrobat, not just Acrobat Pro DC. It is true, though, that it's a bit more difficult to do in Acrobat Standard, as you can't add doc-level scripts through the UI. But you can do it using a script, and you can definitely do it in Acrobat Pro 2020...
