Is the online PDF-to-PPT drag-and-drop converter different from the "export to PPT" within Acrobat? Is the functionality or output different or improved?

Hi @ericg2387310

Thanks for reaching out.

Converting PDF to PPT or Export PDF to PPT are the same functions. The resultant document will be the same whether you convert the PDF file online or export it from/within Acrobat.

Note: Document Cloud services are part of Acrobat Pro. Hence, there's no change in the functionalities and resultant file. You might have noticed there are limitations to accessing tools on DC web then Acrobat pro. But, the result of Exported or Imported file will be the same for both ways.

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks,

Akanchha

Thanks, Akanchha.  That was also the conclusion I came to after inspecting the outcome of each method.

They are made by different teams, at different times. Not sure the teams even talk to each other. So they are very different, and you can try both. Exporting is a very complex task and there wouldn't be a clear "better" for every case.
