ADOBE SUBSCRIPTION SCAM!

Hi,

Please beware! 'FREE SUBSCRIPTION SCAM'

I work as an civil engineer for a company that uses pdf editors daily, though we have been leaning away from it lately towards other softwares. I myself use this a lot and will be sure to make sure my team and wider company makes change away from adobe if this issue is not resolved as this goes against proper practice! The money stolen from me will not compare to the money adobe makes from my company which I will inform those of adobes practices.

- I needed to urgently edit a pdf in a certain way, I hadnt much software on this new work laptop and decided to take a free pdf subscription.

- it was £15.17 a month and I decided to use my own details to do this quickly

- I cancelled it immediately given it was on my personal card rather than work account but couldn't use the pdf editor anyway due to lack of software in this time

- I ended up not using the software but was not worried as I cancelled it immediately

- 1 month later! There is a £15.17 charge from adobe! I then immediately cancelled this, i have adobe the benefit of the doubt, cancelled and took the charge.

- forward to now 3 more charges I discovered going through my bank account. I then tried to cancel again! WAS GIVEN AN EARLY CANCEL CHARGE OF £68.27 if I cancelled

to conclude:

I cancelled the subscription instantly and again a second time, I have NEVER used the software as the pro software is not installed on my work laptop. Therefore I will be potentially paying £100.72 for a 'free' subscription that i have cancelled twice and never used!

Does anyone have any advice? Or will adobe assist me in this matter?

Regards,

Louis

You need to get in touch with Adobe's customer support to discuss these billing issues. Most of the people you will meet on this forum are users of Adobe's technology, just like you - and we don't have access to their billing system, neither do we have a fast track way to get these issues resolved. Get in touch with their support and see what they can do for you: http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
