AI Assistant errors

I have tried using AI assistant to add numbers provided in a table within a pdf document. 

It correctly extracts the data but doesn't complete the addition correctly.  After many prompts, it might get the answer, but then repeats the error when I ask the same question again. 

I try asking the question in different ways but it is still randomly correct, or incorrect. Unfortunately not reliable at this point

Thank you for reporting the issue with tabular data. Extracting structured data from scanned documents often requires precise OCR (Optical Character Recognition) processing. Currently, AI Assistant’s ability to accurately recognize and extract tabular data, especially from scanned PDFs, is an area under active development. 

 

Could you please confirm whether the PDF in question is a scanned document? If so, sharing the PDF file or at least a screenshot of the specific page exhibiting the issue would be immensely helpful.
