Hello, I have the new Adobe Acrobat but I cannot see the AI Assistant in Adobe Acrobat & Reader on the Desktop version only on the web version. How can I enable it to desktop version too?

Thanks

Uninstall / reinstall from CC desktop is what worked me. It was an easty fix, but this an issue for users. It needs attention.

Hi,

Having the same issue, creative cloud user with the latest Acrobat Pro installed. The solution about changing language doesn't work for me, as 'choose at application start' is not an option (see image). Not sure how to acces the AI feature then

Found it: Preferences>Language>Apllication Language>Choose at application startup>Restart & choose English>Open a document> wait a bit>Notification should appear in the toolbar asking to restart Acrobat> Restart> Enjoy!

Hi @athina_vn

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

The generative AI features in Acrobat and Acrobat Reader are turned on by default. Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.01.20604 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and check.

Let us know how it goes.
