Annotations in Document Cloud Files Disappear after Reopening Acrobat after a Crash

Hi all,

I annotated multiple documents that I uploaded to the cloud over the last week. My computer crashed this morning. When I opened Adobe, it asked me if I wanted to recover my documents. I said yes. Now, all the annotations on my documents are gone. I'm assuming this is because the recovery actually recovered the last local file save instead of pulling from the document cloud save, but this is a guess. Is there a way to fix this? Are there any temporarily saved versions of cloud files I could check?

Looking at the file names; they don't have the appropriate modification dates that correspond to the last time I had edited them. This makes me feel like an older file was recovered. However, I'm not sure where the new one has gone. It does not seem to be the case that my Document Cloud actually backed up to the Creative Cloud despite it saying that it does. So, access to versioning through there does not seem possible.
