Has anyone else experiened where the auto-create link tool does not recognize ".org" links? Or is there a solution for this? I have a link on all my footers to the company ".org" website and I would hate to create a link for each indiviual page.

Thanks in advance!

It appears the address needs to be lower case in order for Create links from URLs to work.

Thanks all! I did a few tests. The auto-create link tool definitely does not like all caps or any tracking.

I unfortunately cannot create the hyperlink within InDesign either because I use a script from our printer to create the PDFs. It doesn't seem to export with hyperlinks. If anyone has any other ideas, happy to listen. I don't want to compromise my design either but functionalilty over looks may win here.

“auto-create link tool does not recognize ".org" links”

I have never relied on auto-create links for websites and email addresses, as they are not supported in all browsers. I create links manually either in Acrobat or InDesign. Does it work if you create a link with the Links tool?

It works fine for me. What's the full URL of your website? Also, what version of Acrobat are you using, and on what OS?

Try the letters in lower case.
