At my business place we have a form to fill out for vacations etc, which then has to be sent back for signing by the supervisor. The problem is once I fill the various fields out and try to save it, it flattens the document so it can no longer be edited. How do I stop from automatically flattening it?

Go to the field's Properties and under the Signed tab you could set it to lock some fields, or all of them, or none at all.

Actually, I think i've figured it out. It was something to do with the digital signiture. I did a new one and that seems to have cured it.

How are you signing the file, exactly?

I usually use the digital signiture, but whatever way I use, it still flattens the pdf.
