Booklet printing

I'm absolutely losing my mind trying to figure this out so I'd really appreciate any help! I'm trying to print a document as a booklet that was created in canva. I have downloaded the document as a pdf from canva as both an A4 and an A5 and have the same problem with both. Basically when viewed on the screen and also printed as an A4 document with 1 sheet per page it looks fine. But as soon as I try to print as a booklet it is off centre to the left. I've tried what feels like a 1,000 different settings and it's always the same. Ive tried resizing the pages, tried different scaling, I even tried reordering all the pages so that I could try printing using the Multiple option 2-sided and it was the same. I tried saving to Multiple 2-sided to pdf so I could print as A4 2-sided document but it saved off centre as well. I've searched the forums here and tried everything that's previously been suggested, help!!
