Question

Bullets in textboxes within word disappear when document is converted to PDF

Hi there

I have spent hours trying to work out why some of thebullet points within textboxes in my beautifully formatted CV don't show up when I convert the word version to a PDF. They are missing from the document entirely and you can really notice their absence. I need to send my CV out as a PDF as if I just sent it in Word the formatting can muck up over email.

I use a Mac with Word version 2019. Any help would be much appreciated!

Many thanks,

Danielle

What method are you using to convert from MS Word file to a PDF file?

Trying exporting to PDF with the Acrobat ribbon (Adobe's PDF Maker that's installed into Word when Acrobat is installed).

What you've described is Microsoft's utilities to make PDFs from Word and this is an Adobe forum.

FYI, "PDF" is a generic term that anyone can use.

"Acrobat" and "Adobe" are trademarks of Adobe Systems so any utilitly that uses those words is an Adobe product.

On the other hand, any utility that just says "PDF" can be made by anyone, not necessarily Adobe.

Wait wait, sorry you're on a Mac and my instructions above (use PDF Maker) work only on Windows.
