Can Adobe view my uploaded content in Document Cloud?

Hi Adobe, 

 

I have a task to convert TIFF Files to PDF using the Create PDF feature in Acrobat Pro. However, our Data Privacy Officer aims to know if Adobe will be able to view or access the contents of the files that are stored in the cloud.

    You are talking about cloud documents. Sure, countless people will be able to look into those documents. There will be the people hosting physically the data, there will be the people controlling the data, there will be your systems managers… If you want to avoid having people peeking into your data, you need to pull the plug.

     

    Will someone look into your data? It depends on: Microsoft runs some very nice software to detect child pornography. However, the algorithms fail every so often, locking out people who have none of that stuff on their computers.

     

    If you want privacy, you need to encode your drives and cloud storage. There are tools out doing that. With such tools, neither Adobe nor other providers can have a look into your data, either willingly, nor accidentally.
