Can only see first page of pdfs in iOS

Here's today's problem, though there have been many other examples:

 

https://web.archive.org/web/20160527181734/http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/cas/his/schloesser/jesuitmoderns/w01/resources/MURPHY_Jesuit-slave.pdf

 

on my iPad or iPhone, using Safari, Firefox, Dolphin, or Chrome, only the first page of the pdf will show. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks.

Solution:

Open the files in Acrobat Reader.

I tried the link in Safari on iPhone and can confirm this happens. It's a limitation of iPhone Safari when a PDF is embedded; it only shows the first page. I found that a hard press on the page causes a change and if I keep pressing, Safari finally shows me a scrollable version. It's probably all working as it should, I guess.
