Hi, I am able to add a picutre to my pdf, but I am unable to move the  item or expand it to fit the page.  When I click on it, it looks like it should let me expand and move the item, but it does not allow it.

Hi @Roni281775078rqe

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

What is the workflow/steps you are doing to add the image to the PDF file? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.  I tried to reproduce the issue on my end and its working fine.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.3.20314 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

HI Amal, thanks for responding.

I have version 22.002.20191.0  of Adobe Acrobat Standard DC.

I tried it with a different file, and I get the same response.   I'm not sure how to upload a video, but I am going to edit in the PDF document, edit text and images, then copying and pasting (control C and control V) the pic into the pdf.  I've also tried a right click, and selected add image.

Is it possible that standard DC does not do what I want,  and Adobe Pro DC does? I had adobe pro on my last computer and it worked fine, but this new computer only has standard DC.

Hi @Roni281775078rqe

The option to edit the text and images is available in Adobe Acrobat std as well. Please update the application to the version 22.3.20314. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once. You may also download the path manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html

If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the direct link
https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html
