Can't Edit my PDF

Question

Hello, I am having a hard time editing a PDF in Acrobat. Whenever i press the edit button and click on the text I want to edit it just shows these two blue lines but doesn't allow me to click in the PDF text to edit it. It often says original font not avaiable switching to Myrid Pro. I am not sure if it's a different font is the reason why but I can not click in any of the text box to edit and have tried what seems like everything. I can add text but I cannot edit the text that is already on this PDF.

What am I doing wrong?

@First Timer 4444 can you take a screenshot of what is happening?

When I create a PDF and 'Edit PDF' , I am able to make changes to the file...

If I want edit the text, I need to Double -Click on the text, and a type box opens.

Try the double-clicking the text
