can't edit text after saving work (acrobat dc)

hi, i'm wondering why I can't edit text in acrobat pro dc after saving my work? The backspace, delete, cut, type, etc have no effect... it's frustrating...would appreciate some help if anyone knows, thanks

it's ok - seems to be working with a larger box around several sentences...

ps   can continue with new sentences, but can't edit saved sentences...
