Can't load Acrobat DC Pro, in and endless loop insisting on upgrades

I bought a new PC and am trying to load my valid documented copy of acrobat DC pro that I purchased a few years ago.  I keep getting sign in required then Update reqired.  Then it brings me to a page of options of what needs to be updated.  It says it will only interface with the now defunct internet explorer.  My windows 11 is up to date and I've made microsoft edge, the internet explorer replacement my default browser.  I've tried to upload acrobat DC Pro updates but get error messages from windows 11 saying they conflict with the operating system.

I've been going around this loop for some time.  It's extremely frustrating.  How do I get this to load and operate on my PC?
