Can't open zip attachments in Adobe Acrobat Pro on Mac

I keep getting the error "Adobe acrobat cannot open the file attachment because your pdf file attachment settings" for the zip file I have attached to a PDF sent to me, and when I click save to export it I get "You have selected a file that cannot be exported from Adobe Acrobat"

In Preferences > Trust Manager I have "Allow opening of non-PDFs" checked but that hasn't helped.

Any idea of how I can extract this zip file from my PDF on my mac?

Too bad Adobe, someone sent me PDF with ZIP and I can't open it...

Here how it can be done without using an Adobe Reader (isn't it hilarious, so big and heavy app but can't do much staff)

brew install poppler
pdfdetach -list doc.pdf
pdfdetach -save 1 doc.pdf ("1" is number of file in a list)

Hi brianc44272166,

Sorry for the delay in response.

File formats supported in Acrobat: Supported file formats in Acrobat and Reader and .zip is not clearly among them.

There are different third party application help you to extract .zip file on Mac; macOS Sierra: Compress or uncompress files and folders

Let us know if that helps.
