I'm trying to sign documents digitally, but my digital certificate (from Brazil), which is in token format, does not appear in the list, and Adobe does not allow/find it for installation. Adobe Pro 2020 Mac version 2020.005.30516. I have attached screenshots of the error.
Only Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 does not find the certificate. The adobe reader(version 2023.003.20269)can find it according to the attached image.

Hi @Ricardo Paiva

Thanks for the detailed information.

Please try the following steps to see if it works for the Acrobat:

  • Restart Adobe Acrobat Pro; sometimes, a simple restart of the application can resolve issues related to certificate recognition.
  • Check Certificate Store: Verify that the digital certificate is properly installed on your system's keychain or certificate store. If installed correctly, it should be available for use in other applications.
  • Reinstall Certificate: Try removing the digital certificate from your keychain and then reinstalling it. Ensure that you follow the proper installation process.
  • Follow the steps suggested in a similar discussion here and change the preferences setting: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/the-credential-selected-for-signing-is-invalid-army-cac-mac-os-10-14/m-p/10634727#M55738

Thanks,
