So today, I have had multiple files on 3 different computers throw an error opening a PDF. One of the PDF's was generated months ago and never threw the error before now. One was generated yesterday. All computers running newest version of Windows 10, either Acrobat DC or Reader (newest update). The files were created in InDesign using fonts from my Adobe CS font collection.
The error is:
"Cannot extract the embedded font "EMWZZL+MinionPro-Semibold." Some characters may not display or print correctly.
I went to the Adobe forum and there were lots of post from back in 2018-2019 with similar errors, I never did see a fix in any of those threads.
I am wondering if the newest update of Adobe Acrobat brought back a bug that was squashed 4 years ago? Or if there is a fix for this problem??

Today, I exported the problem PDF's fresh from InDesign. The new PDF's aren't throwing the error. Weird!
