Hello - I've encountered a weird issue where a pdf I made in Canva does not print when I try to print in Adobe Acrobat. It takes me to the printer settings but when I hit print, it makes me resave it and it says it's sending to printer but it never prints. I checked in the printer queue and it never shows up. However if I drag the pdf into the web browser - I can print it fine.
Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted or is this a weird bug? I know Canva is not ideal but the person I am sending this to does not know how to use adobe products and they will need to print these docs. I do not want them to encounter this issue. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

Go to the printer Properties (or under Advanced, perhaps) and make sure that "Print to File" is not ticked.

I don't think this is my issue. When I try to Print to Adobe PDF, I get a text box open and it says this:

This is not what was discussed above. Try posting under a new thread.

This option is not in my dialog box. And Canva is the problem. Other PDFs print fine. I did a clean uninstall and reinstall and I could print one time. Then not ever again. Any other thoughts? Thanks.

Hi @pdxstella23,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with using Adobe PDF Printer.
The issue occurs when you are using cloud fonts, and they are not completely embedded to the document, this throwing the error.
In such a situation, you can open the document, click on Print, select Adobe PDF Printer, uncheck the checkbox saying "Do not rely on document fonts. Use System Fonts Only," > Apply, and OK.
Once done, try printing the document.
Let us know how it goes.
Regards,
Souvik.

It's not available on Mac computers, only Windows.

OK - that explains that. Anyone have any ideas on resolving Canva created files/pdfs that won't print?

Hi @pdxstella23,
Sorry for the confusion.
Would you mind sharing more information on the issue for better understanding and assistance:
1. The error message (if any) you see when trying to print the file;
2. Are you using Acrobat desktop application or the web portal;
3. Do you see the error with every file you try to print? Can you share a sample file with us to test the issue in-house.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Souvik.
