Cannot use clipboard in Adobe Acrobat DC.

In the last few days the Clipboard has ceased to function within Adobe Acrobat DC. This had not been an issue before now, and is affecting new documents as well as those that I have been able to use the Clipboard in the past.

When I use the "copy" feature i get the following error message. "There was an error while copying to the Clipboard. An internal error occurred."

I have restarted the application and it has not fixed the error. And I have installed all updates from Adobe.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The clipboard is part of the operating system, so there might be an issue within the interface between Acrobat and clipboard. Check if there have any updates installed for the operating system, when the problems started. Try to uninstall them. If this doesn't help, you might check it can be solced by using another user account on the same computer.

Hi @Brendan25946735udlt

We are sorry to hear that. Would you mind collecting Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html, Procmon logs https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/acromonitor.html and in case the application is freezing/crashing please also collect the Adobe Acrobat crash/freeze logs https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html and share them via document cloud as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/sharing-pdfs.html for further investigation
