In acrobat DC, how do you center the text in a date field?

Go to Tools - Forms - Prepare Form.

Right-click field, select Properties.

This option doesn't work if you are trying to centre the text in a 'List Box'.
The preferences change and don't allow you to choose how your text is aligned.
