Change license type in Acrobat Pro 2020 (Mac) installation

For the past two years I have been subscribed to the Creative Cloud license for Acrobat Pro (Mac). However since the user interface kept being changed I downgraded to Acrobat Pro 2020 (Mac) and then decided not to renew the yearly subscription when it expired but rather just buy the one time purchase Acrobat Pro 2020 (Mac) retail box at my local office supply store. The retail box doesn't have a disk but rather gives you a Redemption Code which you use on the Adobe site to obtain the serial number. So I am able to get a serial number but when I click on the download button on that same page I get a "404 Not Found Microsoft-Azure-Application-Gateway/v2" error. So I thought I could just go to my current Acrobat Pro 2020 (Mac) installation and just change the license from the annual subscription to the one time purchase serial number. However I am unable to find out how to do this. Is there a way to change the license info on my current installation or do I need to uninstall it and then reinstall? Even though the download link on the website above doesn't work I was able to find the following page:

It may be possible by uninstalling Acrobat, running AcroCleaner (AcroCleaner — Acrobat Desktop Tools and Utilities), downloading your version of Acrobat and installing that. AcroCleaner should remove all installation leftovers.
