Changing Language Settings in Acrobat Pro: Need Assistance with the Sign Function

Hello,

I have already searched the forum, but unfortunately, I have not found any truly helpful post.

I have the following problem: I am the only one using Acrobat Pro for our small company in Germany. I find the Sign function very useful and it usually works well. However, the instructions for our customers are always in English, and I simply cannot find a way to change this.

In the basic settings, everything is set to German. I have also tried to set the recipient's language in the options, but no corresponding option is shown to me.

Am I doing something wrong?

Attached are a few screenshots.

Thank you in advance for the help.

Hi @Ralf28536501z20q

Thank you for sharing the screenshots.

A little more information on this would be super helpful. Like, when you say, "The instructions for our customers are always in English, and I simply cannot find a way to change this."

Which instruction are you referring to? Can you share the screenshot of those as well?

The language settings you have shared above are for the Adobe account. You need to change the language settings from your Adobe Sign account. Just in case it has been missed, please refer to the steps suggested here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/multilanguage-sending-signing.html

Let us know if this helps.

Thanks,

Akanchha

Hi @AkanchhaS

Thank you for your quick response.

I am referring to the email that our customers receive and the instructions during the signing process. As requested, I have taken a few more screenshots.

As you can see, the customer receives a mix of English and German.

Regarding the link you sent me: I have not been able to find the account settings so far. Can I access this as an individual user with an Adobe Pro license? If so, where can I find them?

Thank you for your help, and best regards.

Hi Ralf28536501z20q,

Thank you for reaching out.

As you have an Acrobat Pro subscription, it includes the Acrobat Sign individual plan. This plan does not offer the option to change the recipient's language.

Hope the information helps.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
