Hello Tara,

With the current description, I can understand that you are trying to produce a PDF with a certain output size and dimensions, Is that correct?

If you are using a third-party application like Word/Excel and trying to create a PDF, you can change the settings from ACROBAT preferences from ACROBAT ribbon>Preferences>Settings>Advanced Settings>Default Page Size, and can make the changes.

If you are using Acrobat to create PDF, you can make changes from Edit>Preferences>Convert to PDF and make the changes.

You can also refer to the following Adobe article Creating a PDF at the Right Output Size and Dimensions

Feel free to update this discussion for any further assistance.

You'll find free tools here for both resizing PDF pages and creating a new PDF with a specific size. These tool should work on Acrobat 7

Hello Tarag,

As per the description above, you want to change the size/dimension of a PDF using Acrobat 7, Is that correct?

Acrobat 7 is a long declared end of life and support product, and it has not been tested as the supported operating system and product is not available anymore that you can change the dimension while creating a PDF using Acrobat 7.

End of Support means that Adobe no longer provides technical support or distribute runtimes. This policy affects product and security updates for all derivatives of a product or product version (localized versions, minor upgrades, operating systems, dot and double-dot releases, and connector products).

For detailed information, please refer to End of support | Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 (and earlier)

However, you can optimize PDF using Acrobat Pro DC, you can refer to the following Adobe article for more information Optimizing PDFs in Adobe Acrobat Pro

Hi Anand,

Perhaps I gave the incorrect information, as I have only downloaded this program within the past several months. The properties for a document that I created in this program reads "PDF Version: 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x)" Looking at it further I see where is also reads under Application and PDF Producer "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 18.11.20035"

I'm hoping that changes things and that there is an answer to the question now. Thanks, either way!

Best,

Tara
