Hi,
i successfully made the OCR on a english-chinese text, but only for english part the result is good.
How can i do for scanning in a correct way both the parts?
if a scan 2 times, firstly setting english language and then chinese, i obtain this:
前景qJanJmg prospect
影响yì'ngxi远ng infiuence
印象ymxlang lmpresslOn
english part has been "mixed" with chinese

Hi Gtsolid,
Wow, what a need.
OK, I have a clunky idea, not optimal in ANY way but this may work:
Make a copy of the scan BEFORE you run the OCR.
Now go into your Tools, scan down to "Protect & Standardize" and select "Redact." Now on one copy redact the English and the other copy redact the Chinese. Now run the appropriate OCR.
Now export the content into a Word Processor that can deal with both Chinese and English and combine them accordingly.
Now PDF the result.
Like I said, I have no idea if this can work and yes, it's very tedious, but it's the only way I can think to do it. Maybe, if anything, I just gave a great laugh to someone who knows an easy way to do it.
Let me know what you come up with.
